With call volume increasest staffing shortages, and budget cuts, there's no end in sight for the load and demands placed on exhausted and burned out firefighters. With no one coming to save us, TSR empowers firefighters to utilize ditch unsatisfying sleep struggles behind and create a solid foundation for recovering sleep at the firehouse using results proven, science backed methods.

Over 2-3 nights, firefighters are given the chance to rest, refocus, and recharge. There's no better place to take a deep breath and unwind with workshops and activities than our beautiful wilderness location at a private family lodge in Washington State.
Workshops includes content from Tactical Sleep Recovery, Biohacked Firefighter lifestyle framework, therapeutic recovery work from local acupuncturists, breath work, yoga and tai chi instructors, and so much more.

Each day is designed to educate AND empower your sleep and recovery. From 8am - 8pm, you'll experience somatic practices, vagal toning, biohacking, and stress & performance workshops designed BY Firefighters FOR Firefighters.

Depending on which retreat you’re coming to, you’ll fly into either Portland Oregon by 2pm, or San Juan PR by 3pm. We will arrange transportation from the airport.

You’ll have the option of either double or single capacity, depending on your preference. These retreats are all inclusive so you don’t have to worry about airport runs, food, snacks, coffee, tea, or the additional experiences that come with the retreat (location dependent!)

Yes! Simply include your dietary preferences on your registration sheet.

Each retreat is limited to 8-10, so you get an intimate, cozy, and personal experience.
Washington State location is a FireGals Retreat only, while Puerto Rico is open to all.

Schedule is location dependent, however we loosely follow a structure of activities to help you get into your body and mind with science based practices and results driven techniques that allow you to completely reset your nervous system:
Morning: Morning Yoga starts at 7am followed by coffee or tea and breakfast. The first activity will be a group training followed by a dynamic coaching exercises and practices.
After lunch, you’ll have a few hours to enjoy a few activities offered on location (such as cold plunges and saunas, or beach trips and kayaking), then resume activities with somatic and sleep practices, and group coaching.
Evenings are designed to relax your mind and wind down your body. After dinner we’ll engage in book club, a service based experience (think acupuncture or sound therapy!), and another sleep practice to begin training your body to down regulate and fall asleep faster.
